Don Giovanni production rescheduled due to Covid-19.

Obviously I was hoping to launch my updated website with a huge amount of novelties, funny anecdotes and lots of exciting upcoming project information for you to read. But alas, I need to start by relating to the unfortunate cancellation of most of my upcoming activities.

Together with Sybrand van der Werf and a fantastic bunch of soloists, we were in the middle of the creation process of what would become a very nice Don Giovanni production by Opera Compact, with the support of Volksopera. Currently we are looking to reschedule the project to next season; it seems we will have to postpone our premiere by more than a year.

Regardless of the loss of performances and related artistic work (and income, of course) I fully understand the necessity of the regulations now in place to combat the virus.
